How long will it take to get my sauna?
Lead times depend some on the season and order volume but typically 8-12 weeks.
Why are your saunas more expensive than a kit or barrel?
This is an entirely different product than a kit, infrared or barrel sauna for a variety of reasons including materials, build quality, insulation, durability, and proper sauna design like bench and ceiling heights, thermal mass, ventilation and room volume. This is a handmade premium product that will last for decades.
Our saunas also come fully assembled and ready to use.
How do you ventilate your saunas?
Scientific research on the physics of sauna ventilation have shown that passive ventilation does not work well in an electrically heated sauna. Our saunas use very quiet and efficient mechanical ventilation to refresh the air frequently and mix it to reduce stratification and CO2 buildup. This is something that sets us apart from almost all other sauna builders in North America.
How do you insulate your saunas?
We use mineral wool insulation because it resists mold, moisture and pests. We use a foil vapor barrier on the interior to prevent moisture from entering the walls and to reflect radiant heat.
Where do you ship?
We currently ship to Western states including Oregon, Washington, California, Idaho, Utah, Nevada and Montana. Delivery to your driveway within 60 miles of Portland, Oregon is included in the purchase. Farther locations will be charged hourly. Cost for positioning is $650. Crane placement is an option for trickier deliveries.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept ACH payments directly from your bank for the lowest rate but we also accept credit cards for an additional charge.
How secure is my payment?
We do not store any payment information, all payments are made securely through Shopify or directly from your bank to ours.
Do I pay upfront or a deposit?
We charge a 25% deposit through our website to reserve your spot in our build schedule. This allows us to start purchasing materials and begin your custom build. The balance is due on delivery and can be paid through an ACH payment directly to our bank.
What is your refund or return policy?
Saunas are made to order so we do not accept returns. We can fully refund your deposit up to the time we order materials for your build. We typically start the order 8 weeks before your delivery date.
What is your warranty policy?
Our saunas come with a complete 3 year warranty on manufacturing defects from the date of delivery.

Do I need a permit to install my sauna?
Our saunas are small enough that they rarely require a permit but you can check with your city and state to make sure. We will not ask you for a permit to deliver your sauna.
Where are you located?
We are based in Sherwood, Oregon, Southwest of Portland, and build all our saunas here.
Can I take my sauna with me if I move?
Yes, it’s a great feature to help sell your house but if you can’t part with it, you can take it with you!
